Records

A record is one row of a table. Open it to see and change all of its fields at once.

Working with records

  • Add a record from the grid, a form, a board or the calendar.
  • Open one to see every field, what links to it and its comments.
  • Duplicate a record: the copy lands right below it, with copies of its own files.
  • Select records in the grid to duplicate or delete them together.

Comments

Discuss a record with your team in its comments. Commenters and above post; each person deletes their own.

Where it came from

The Source column, hidden until a view shows it, tells how each record arrived and from whom: typed in, from a form view, from Forms, a booking page, an import, a process, a workflow, a scan or Ask AI. Search, sort and filter by it.

Documents from records

Write a document template once, with blanks for the fields such as {{Name}} or {{Total}}, and each record prints its own: a contract, a certificate, an invoice. Pictures, signatures and lists of linked records, a line each, fill in too. Preview, print, save as PDF or download for Word from each row.

Fill from the apps

A record kept for a period, such as a month of KPIs, fills its numbers from the base’s apps over that period: revenue from Accounting, sales from Point of Sale, deals from the CRM. Nothing to type or guess.
