Views
A view is a way of looking at a table’s records. A table holds as many views as you like, each with its own filters, sorting and fields.
The views
- Grid
- Rows and columns, edited in place; large tables stay quick.
- Form
- The table as a form to fill in, shared by a link if you like: each answer becomes a record.
- Calendar
- Records on the days of a date field, by day, four days, week, month, year or schedule. Drag across days to create one.
- Timeline
- A Gantt chart: each record a bar from its start to its end, with arrows between the records that depend on each other.
- Gallery
- Cards with a picture, for products, rooms or people.
- Kanban
- A board of stacks by a choice field. Drag cards between stacks, and open one for its labels, checklists and comments.
- Dashboard
- Figures and charts from your records: numbers, bars, columns, donuts and lines.
- Report
- One record at a time, with what links to it, its figures and charts.
Add a view
- 1Open the table and choose Add view.
- 2Pick its type and name it.
- 3Set its fields, filters and sorting: each view keeps its own.
Print and export
Every view prints from its menu, as a table of what it shows with its groups and totals, to print, save as PDF or download for Word, and exports as CSV.
Kanban cards
- Labels belong to the board, and color its cards.
- A card holds several checklists, their progress shown on the card.
- Comments sit beside the card, for the team.
- A duplicated record keeps its card’s labels and checklists.
