Inventory and purchasing

Inventory keeps one count of your stock, shared by Point of Sale and the Online store.

Items and stock

Each item has its SKU, cost and reorder rule. Its stock is the sum of its moves: receipts, sales, returns, counts and adjustments, each kept with its reason.

One count

A register product or a store variant with an item’s SKU sells that item’s stock, so a sale anywhere lowers the same count. A base that sold before adding Inventory counts its products in, in one go.

Purchasing

  1. 1Reorder drafts a purchase order per supplier for the items at their minimum.
  2. 2Place the order with the supplier.
  3. 3Receive it line by line as it arrives: each receipt adds to the stock, at its cost.

Alerts

You are told when an item falls to its reorder point, from any sale or count, and a workflow can bill received orders in Accounting.
