Teams and private access

Teams

In Settings › Teams, group your members: Sales, Kitchen, Accountants. Give a team a role on the whole workspace, on a base or on one app, and each of its members has that access.

Giving access

1. 1Open the base’s Settings › Access, or one of its apps’ settings and its Access tab.
2. 2Add a member or a team, and choose their role there.
3. 3A person’s own access decides first; otherwise the highest of their teams’ applies.

Private bases and apps

Restrict a base, or one app of a base, and the workspace’s roles stop at it: only the members and teams you add there see it. Use it for payroll, the books, or a branch only its managers should open.

Owners alone give people access: they share bases, set restrictions and keep the teams.
