Formulas
A formula field works out its value from the record’s other fields, as a spreadsheet’s cell does.
Write a formula
Name fields in braces and combine them: {Price} * {Quantity}, or CONCAT({First name}, " ", {Last name}). The value follows the fields as they change, and can show as money in a currency.

Examples
- {Total} - {Paid}: what is left to pay.

- DATETIME_DIFF({Check-out}, {Check-in}): the nights of a stay.
- ROUND({Score} / {Out of} * 100, 1): a share in percent.
Good to know
- A choice is compared by its words: IF({Status} = "Done", …).
- A field left empty reads as blank, which ISBLANK tells.
- Days count by the calendar: a night across a change of the clocks is still one night.
