Organization
Large organizations, a ministry, an army, a school network or a group of companies, can mirror their hierarchy in a workspace.
Levels, ranks and units
Start from a structure (military, education, government or corporate) and rename its levels, such as Ministry › Region › School, and its ranks. Then build the tree of units, each inside its parent.
Postings
Post each member in a unit with a rank and a title, as its head, a deputy or a member. Each member has one main posting, and can act in others.
The chain of command
- A unit’s head and deputies command it and every unit below it.
- Commanders change the units and postings under their command.
- Access can go to a unit: everyone posted in it and below it, or only its commanders.
- In the CRM, records can follow the chain: each person sees their own, their subordinates’ and those nobody owns.
A directory for everyone
Settings › Organization is everyone’s to read, as a directory: filter members by unit, rank, status and role. With HR linked, its departments and the organization’s units follow each other.
